You know that saying, “all good things must come to an end?” Well, that’s because nothing lasts in this world. (Now go ponder your morality for the rest of the night. You’re welcome.) So it is with a heavy heart we inform you of the tragic (yet inevitable) news that pop music supercouple Katy Perry and John Mayer have broken up. Again.
The couple began dating in summer 2012 before breaking up in August, only to get together again a month later. But according to Us Weekly, they recently split up for a second time. While Perry Tweeted about her happiness on March 2, by the 18th she hinted at some personal turmoil, and sources confirmed that the pair is over once more.
Oftentimes, when you listen to a director speak on the creation of his or her latest film, you’re bound to hear discussion of camera angles, of casting processes, of material left on the cutting room floor. But withHarmony Korine and his newest feature Spring Breakers, we’re more inclined to hear mention of the young men on set who wished to “hump” star Selena Gomez. His words, not mine.

In the below featurette for Spring Breakers, which hits theaters Mar. 22, director Korine (who has been responsible for psychological maladies like Kids, Gummo, and a surplus of extremely odd short films) talks about how his young star strayed far from her Disney origins for his new subversive story. Among the challenges Gomez onset: staying in character (she and her costars applied a whole lot of Drake music to the endeavor) and fending off the advancements of male extras trying to “rub up on her.” Again, his words.

Remaking any beloved horror property presents a sizeable challenge for the filmmaker. However, the challenges faced by Fede Alvarez’s Evil Dead remake — which premiered last night at SXSW — were absolutely Herculean. We’re not just talking about remaking a classic here: we’re talking about redefining a standard. Sam Raimi’s The Evil Dead was a watershed feat of low-budget magic and ghastly effects wizardry. It represents a turning point for the entire genre, and its name is hallowed as much as, if not more than, the likes of Halloween and Friday the 13th. On top of that, Evil Dead has already ostensibly received the remake treatment in its own 1987 sequel.
Making her rounds to promote the second season of “Fashion Star,” Jessica Simpson paid a visit to “ Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Wednesday night (March 6).
Teasing her Twitter followers beforehand, the “Dukes of Hazzard” cutie tweeted, “Accidental announcement tonight on @jimmykimmel !”
Pregnant with her second child with fiancée Eric Johnson, the mom to be stole the show when she let it slip that she is expecting a baby boy!
Explaining her pregnancy woes this time around, Simpson said, “The crazy thing is I never knew a wiener could make me nauseous.”
Realizing the accidental reveal, Jessica laughed off the on-air oops, saying, “Well I guess I just told the world that I’m having a boy!”
Alert the media: cool girls are having a moment! But having a moment doesn’t come without some controversy of its own: in fact, America’s rabid friend-crush on Jennifer Lawrence has gained a bit of competition from Mila Kunis.
The Oz The Great and Powerful star reminded us not to count her out of the game, because she, too, is a normal, awesome, funny, charming human being. We already knew this about Kunis, but the star reaffirmed our thoughts — and momentarily stole the spotlight back from Lawrence — with her recent interview with Chris Stark of BBC Radio One’s Scott Mills Radio Show (see video below). She agreed to go to a Watford Football Club game with Stark and his lads: the colorfully-named Sir Dosser, The Convict, and Chango the Beast (who were going to be infinitely jealous of all the Lad Points he accumulated from his Kunis time. Probably while necking a pint or drinking Jägerbombs and lad bombs). There was talk of Nando’s, Dickos, trou dropping, meat pies, and Baywatch. It was both endearing and hilarious — and made all the more awesome by Kunis’ candor.

Has Justin Bieber‘s meltdown officially begun? Recently, the teen pop star has been in headlines for his “worst birthday ever,” starting his concert hours late, and flaunting some seriously questionable outfits… and the kicker occurred Thursday when Bieber collapsed onstage during a show in London and was rushed to the hospital.
According to eyewitnesses who took to Twitter immediately after Bieber left the stage, he experienced breathing troubles during his show at London’s O2 arena and passed out. “He got oxygen from emergency personnel. He insisted on finishing the show. He is on the way to the hospital right now,” his rep told E! News.
